Miss Callie has found her way to the kitchen cabinet.

I guess it is better than finding her in the Christmas tree!

I only wish the kittens hadn't seen her there, because you know the next time I look, there's going to be at least 4 cats sitting on the shelves.

They can only learn bad behavior!

I've had kitties since college and that's going on 20 years, but never in those 20 years did I have one climb my Christmas tree.

Odd, I know.

They ate the tree.

They knocked ornaments off the tree, but they never climbed it.

Until now.

Smokey has taken up residence in the tree.

I guess it will be dollar store ornaments this year for us!

Meet Invisacat aka Bootsie

When Bootsie is out and about we always try to get pictures of her. She's a bit anti-social. She's very sweet and gets along with all the other cats, but she's scared of most people.

She's one of the cats that visitors will never see. In fact most people don't know Bootsie at all.

The Great Mutchcoweo

Mutchka was the first kitty we had in my lifetime. My parents had cats before, but those kitties were many years before I was born.

We had always had dogs.

Until Mutchka

I was so excited to find some baby pictures of The Great Mutchcoweo, who was always looking for food for his piehole. He was the greatest kitteh ever and I miss him so much.

The Babies

 Let's face it kittens are the most adorable things on the planet.

5 years ago, a stray we took in had kittens. I thought those would be the only babies that I would ever get to look after.

Well, I was wrong.

In May another kitty decided she wanted to have her kittens in our house. 2 of them found forever homes, but the other 3 weren't picked by anyone, so their forever home is with me.
How could you not love these 3 little faces?

The three remaining kittens are Blinky, Smokey aka 'Mokey and Mucker.

They are the sweetest most loving kittens I've ever been around. They love to be hugged and cuddled.

Oh and they come at the sound of a can being opened.

Smart little babies they are!

Meet two of my kitties that like to sit in places they really don't belong. You know, like Miss Callie and the kitchen cabinet?

She only does that every so often, but Oogie and Gizmo make a habit of getting into things and places they shouldn't be.

Cat's Where They Don't Belong

Miss Callie is a bad kitteh! She's adorable and sweet and all those other things, but she's also bad.

If you look closely you can probably surmise that she's in the kitchen cabinet.

Not a good place for kittehs.

The first time she found her way in was disastrous. (As in, we cleaned up a lot of broken glass).

Thankfully when she got shut in this time, Miss Itchy informed us that she was in there!

Miss Itchy is a good girl.

Because when Miss Callie breaks things, she breaks things that we like, namely our relish tray that we use at the holidays.

I don't think we'll ever be able to find one to replace the one that shattered into a bazillion pieces all over the kitchen floor.

Miss Callie is very lucky she's so darn cute.

Of course, if the kittehs didn't do stuff like this, there would be nothing to blog about, and my life would be so darn boring.

Kittehs Now Caffeine Free!

I'm not sure which kitten this is, Blinky or Mucker, but he was sure having fun inside the Pepsi cube!

This is further proof that cat's don't need or want the toys we buy for them. They want boxes and lids off of water bottles.

I think the laser pointer is the only thing that my cats like that is something that isn't considered garbage!

And very easily amused! Much like their Crazy Cat Lady mama!
