Miss Itchy Says There's Nothing Better Than A Nap

Hi all!

I'm Miss Itchy. The Cat Lady tells me that I got my name from another kitty that looked a lot like me.

I used to be an outside cat, but when I had my last litter of kittens, I decided that I was done with that BS. I wanted four walls and a nice comfy place to sleep.

The Cat Lady is a sucker, so when I was about to go into labor, I walked in her door and I didn't leave.

Life has been good ever since.

There are a lot of other kitties here, but we all get along. The food is good, and there are many laps and blankets to sleep on.

I like to sleep on top of "The Man's" chair, it is one of my favorite spots, except when someone is in it, then I prefer to be on their lap.

My other favorite spot is on top of the tv.

There are so many good places to sleep here, so if you don't mind. I think I need a nap.

Gizmo Speaks Her Mind

Hello world!

My name is Gizmo.

I got together with all the kitties today and decided to take over mom's cat blog.  Why should a cat blog only have cat pictures?

It should be about cats, by cats.

I'm going first, because I never go first. EVER! Everyone is bigger than me, or faster than me.

I'm sad today. We all are.

One of our friends crossed the rainbow bridge today.

Sugarplum was different.

She was a bit anti-social, but we all loved her.

She did things her way and everyone loved her for it. She got away with stuff none of us could. I mean, if she ever used the litter box, it would have been a cold day in the basement!

She was sad for a long time though.

Her man, passed away in November and she has never been the same since.

Mr. Guy was her favorite person. She loved him and his lap. When he was gone, she felt alone, and became more anti-social.

I think she was depressed.

I know our other humans are.

But we have to carry on, like me. I've got to convince Mom to open a can of gushy foods
